Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Medlar ("Medlar", "we", "us") governing your use of the Medlar website and the Medlar application. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use Medlar on behalf of an organization, you confirm you're authorized to bind that organization.

1. What Medlar is

Medlar is an agentic operations assistant. You connect the apps you use — email, calendar, Slack, spreadsheets, and others — describe a task in plain language, and Medlar carries it out on your behalf, showing you every action that changes or sends something before it happens.

2. Your account

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
  • You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account or workspace.
  • You must be at least 16 and able to enter into a binding contract.

3. Connected accounts and approvals

When you connect an account, you authorize Medlar to access it and to act on your behalf to carry out the tasks you describe. You agree that:

  • you have the right to connect those accounts and to let Medlar act on them;
  • the assistant is read-only by default — any action that sends, writes, or changes something is shown to you and runs only after your explicit approval. You are responsible for the instructions you give and the actions you approve;
  • Medlar uses AI, which can be wrong or incomplete. Review its output before relying on it; it is not professional, legal, financial, or medical advice.

4. Plans, credits, and billing

  • Medlar offers a free plan and paid subscriptions (Starter, Team). One credit is spent per message you send to the agent; each plan includes a monthly credit allotment.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle, who processes payments, issues invoices, and appears on your statement.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; cancellation, refunds, and the money-back guarantee are described in our Refund Policy.
  • We may change prices or plan contents with reasonable notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or process data you have no right to;
  • use Medlar to send spam, harass, deceive, or harm others;
  • probe, scan, overload, or interfere with the service, its security, or its infrastructure, or try to circumvent usage limits;
  • resell or provide the service to third parties except as expressly permitted.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put the service at risk.

6. Your content

The data in your connected accounts and the instructions and results of your runs are yours. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service for you — for example, to access connected accounts you authorize and to send relevant content to the providers below to fulfill your requests. How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

7. Intellectual property

Medlar — the name, logo, software, design, and content — belongs to us or our licensors. You may not use the Medlar name or logo without written permission, except to truthfully refer to us. If you send us feedback, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use it without obligation.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that its output will be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and approving the actions Medlar proposes.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Changes and termination

You can stop using Medlar and delete your account at any time. We may update these terms as the product evolves; the effective date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced on this page or by email. Using the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul have exclusive jurisdiction — without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
